Mickey Griffin began boxing at the Nanaimo Boxing Club in the Seventies and won some tournaments and special awards. He has also coached boxers in Nanaimo and Victoria. Mickey is also an Inductee in the BC Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame. He is a great fellow and showed respect and courtesy for others. He is a good boxer and builder.
